Job Overview

Lead and develop 3 functions. The Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Testing & Workshop teams to ensure successful NPI/PTI launches, robust process control, equipment availability, and continuous improvement in support of Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.

Job Requirements

1. Manufacturing Engineering 

  • Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team to execute NPI/PTI launches, ensuring process readiness aligned with Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.
  • Act as the receiving interface for the MDE team, ensuring all major issues are resolved before handing over processes to mass production.
  • Develop and deliver process documentation including PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and related production documents.
  • Manage and monitor engineering change processes to maintain controlled and compliant operations.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure appropriate training is delivered for all new or modified machines, equipment, infrastructure, or hazardous materials.

2. Maintenance

  • Lead the Maintenance team to improve machine availability while ensuring effective cost control.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance processes to maintain optimal equipment performance.

3. Testing & Workshop

  • Lead the Testing & Workshop team to develop and support test systems in alignment with specifications, cost targets, and project schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery and upkeep of production jigs, fixtures, and fabricated parts within workshop capability.
  • Support production in resolving test-related issues and driving continuous improvement.

4. Safety & Compliance

    • Ownership of LOTO and 6side guarding implementation.

What your background should look like

  • University or equivalent degree in Engineering, ideally with the specialization in production technologies or comparable.
  • Min. 10 years of experience in electronics assembly process development with track record in manufacturing, design-to-cots, continuous improvement, process engineering and launch management.
  • Min. 5 years proven track record in a leadership function (e.g. team leader).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing concepts and quality control methodologies.
  • Expertise in process development, implementation, and optimization.
  • Competence in project management and project planning.
  • Knowledge of ISO and IATF 16949:2016 standards.
  • Strong knowledge and implementation experience of LEAN, TPM, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Familiarity with IEC and IPC standards.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Thai.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, teamwork capability, and leadership abilities.
