Job Overview

The Materials Planning Analyst I ensures the right materials are available at the right time by analyzing demand, planning inventory, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, and monitoring supply risks to support smooth production operations. The role focuses on accuracy in planning, SAP data management, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Production Planning or Material Control within manufacturing.  

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001, Six‑Sigma, process capability.
  • SAP ERP/MRP knowledge (SD, PP modules).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Well‑organized, flexible, self‑motivated; good teamwork and collaboration.

What your background should look like

  • Proven experience in material planning, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
  • Strong capability in demand analysis, inventory management, and KPI monitoring (STS, STR, PDR).
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP master data, planned orders, purchase requisitions, and planning accuracy improvement.
  • Ability to identify supply risks, propose mitigation actions, and support engineering changes/NPI.
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally with procurement, production, engineering, and global supply chain teams.
