Job Overview
Manufacturing engineers should have excellent multitasking abilities. Manufacturing engineers are responsible for NPD with innovative methods and motivating staff to perform better along with safe culture and smooth execution.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cable Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to support the Manufacturing process including productization of Digital data network cable assembly
The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality production, improve manufacturing efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project and production goals.
Job Requirements
- Planning the proto parts timeline, Ensuring on-time delivery of sample parts with quality & SCCOP recovery.
- Conduct the meeting with CFT for risk assessments and feasibility studies.
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products, Collaborate with R&D and design engineers during the development phase.
- Ensuring the on-time ECN/PPAP audits with all required documents (PFC, PFMEA, SWI) and co-ordination with production team.
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards and Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action for defects.
- Ensure workplace safety by identifying and mitigating process hazards and Safety Targets monthly (SLM, BBS, Training etc.)
What your background should look like
- BE/ B. Tech (Electronic, Mechanical)/ Diploma (5 - 7 years’ experience)
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a production supervisor or similar rol
- Technical capabilities: Expert functional/domain knowledge
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Organizational and leadership qualities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Building people capability: Training and mentoring employees with the necessary skill set, work with CFT & organizational capability
