FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Controlling Teams coordinate, administer, and control financial operations. They review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports, direct all aspects of accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts. They also oversee the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements.

Lead the corporate finance function by building trust, maintaining communication between functions, meeting internal and external deadlines, developing and enhancing processes to support and control the activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance team members, work closely with the FSC (Switzerland and Poland) and other function representatives (Controllership, Legal, Corporate Treasury, Tax, ISC, etc…)
  • Supervise financial US Gaap accounting ie day-to-day (AP) and performs month- and year-end closes, financial controls and update procedures. Handles the TE stock program.
  • Prepare the month-end SAP financial reporting to Corporate Accounting Management and present the quarterly accounts to the Board of Directors 
  • Assist in the Treasury function transfer to Luxembourg and capital planning re issuance of new debt 
  • Prepare budget and forecast for the Finance function and analyze variances
  • Prepare annual accounts and assist auditors for 2 entities.
  • Manage corporate tax and prepare income tax return files and VAT, 
  • Prepare regulatory reporting to BCL
  • Maintain Internal control environment
  • Coordinate with HR (including internal staff costs recharge) and IT. Ensure administrative support for the office
  • Participate in internal and global projects to ensure good coordination of processes and work across the Group

What your background should look like:

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Preferably experienced with international holding, finance or audit company
  • Ideally national or with work experience in Luxembourg
  • Minimum 5 year experience in a related finance or accounting field
  • Fluent English and French, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work under minimal supervision, autonomous
  • Developed analytical skills, high standard of integrity, willing to learn and implement TE processed and policies across various functions
  • Ability to interact with all levels / functions in the organization, team player, open minded and adaptable
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft, HFM, OneSource
  • The Controller report to the Senior Manager Accounting, FSC.
