MGR II SALES DEVELOPMENT

Purpose of the Role:
To lead the Utility Sales organization in Peru, driving top-line growth, managing key customer accounts, and overseeing the performance and development of the sales team. This role is responsible for aligning local execution with regional and global strategies to maximize market share and profitability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    Manage and develop the Utility Sales Team (Sales Engineer RAM, Field Service Engineer FSE, Tender Engineer)
  • Define and implement a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy aligned with the Americas Energy Division.
  • Maintain and manage customer opportunities within Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Monitor market trends and communicate changes in product or customer requirements.
  • Oversee inventory levels and control slow-moving/obsolete stock (SMI/PFO).
  • Support Finance in managing Accounts Receivable to ensure healthy P&L performance.
  • Lead strategic account management for at least three key utility customers in Peru.
  • Develop and expand distribution channels; work closely with the Americas Channel Manager.
  • Define and execute pricing strategies for the Peruvian market in coordination with Product Management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in alignment with TE’s Excellent Customer Experience (ECE) framework.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance sales culture.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Electrical Engineering degree required; MBA or Business Administration is a plus.
  • Languages: Native Spanish; Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in a sales management position with team leadership.
  • Proven experience in Peru’s Electrical Utility market (e.g., Pluz Energia, Tecsur, Enosa, Grupo Fonafe, ISA Peru).

Mobility Requirements:
Must be available for frequent travel across Peru to meet with customers and support team activities.
