Job Requirements
Analytics & Reporting (Power BI / Fabric)
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for executive, operational, and functional audiences, with a strong focus on Global Trade and Compliance analytics.
- Build and manage semantic models and datasets in Microsoft Fabric, ensuring performance, reusability, and consistency across reporting use cases.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations, KPIs, and metrics that support decision-making across regions and business units.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define data definitions, calculations, and reporting standards, ensuring a single source of truth.
Data Engineering & Platform
- Design and build robust, production-grade data pipelines using Databricks, supporting ingestion, transformation, and curation of enterprise data.
- Analyze complex data sources, including SAP systems, and determine optimal approaches for extracting, transforming, and modeling data for analytics consumption.
- Ensure pipelines are scalable, performant, well-documented, and aligned with platform best practices.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability across reporting layers.
Global Trade & SAP Integration
- Develop analytics solutions supporting Global Trade processes, including compliance, classification, duty management, and trade execution.
- Leverage and model data from SAP GTS and related SAP systems to support trade reporting and operational insights.
- Act as a data subject-matter partner for Global Trade teams, helping bridge business processes with analytics and reporting solutions.
Operational Excellence & Governance
- Manage scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data pipelines and reporting refreshes.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and access control standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data models, pipelines, and reporting assets.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers and BI developers
What your background should look like
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and enterprise reporting roles.
- Proven expertise in Power BI, including dashboard design, DAX, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric (or equivalent modern analytics platforms) for semantic modeling and reporting.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience working with SAP data, with SAP GTS knowledge strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Global Trade processes and related analytics use cases.
- Experience working in cloud environments; AWS and/or Azure experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, source control, CI/CD, and issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver against defined timelines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly insights.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $122,400 - $183,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
