TE Temporary Assembly Operator

Job Overview

In this role, you will;

  • Be responsible for ensuring continuous operations by performing readjustments, fixing jams and misfeeds.
  • Perform in-process quality inspection and testing using but not limited to micrometers, dial calipers, microscopes, rulers and gages.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical components on manufacturing machinery, replacing parts as needed.
  • Be responsible for in-process and final inspection of sleeve assemblies to ensure that QIP specifications are met and that product is processed to print requirements.
  • Be responsible for performing routine Preventative Maintenance on machines.
  • Be responsible for preparing finished parts to be taken by Material Handling.
  • Assist in training other associates on an as needed basis.
  • Be cross-trained in related departments to provide surge capacity or gap coverage.

Education/Experience:

  • A safety/quality conscious attitude working in a team environment.
  • Ability to run multiple machines at the same time.
  • Flexibility to respond to multiple assignments. 
  • This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 50 lbs.
  • Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
  • Frequent standing and walking is required in this job.
