Plating Operator III (PM Con Ops)

Job Overview

Shift: AM Con Ops

As Plating Operator III, you will;

  • Perform plating processes to electro-plate loose piece terminals with metals such as tin, tin/lead, copper, gold, nickel, zinc, silver to engineering specifications.
  • Perform routine quality checks
  • Utilize x-ray machine to verify metal thickness follows plating specs
  • Work on preventative maintenance activities on the plating line as needed
  • Additional responsibilities as requested

$500 sign-on bonus

What your background should look like:


  • Works safely and takes responsibility for the safety of others 
  • Ability to work overtime or extended shifts as needed 
  • Basic understanding of chemical reactions 
  • Basic math skills 
  • Previous plating experience is preferred 
  • Experience with SAP is preferred 
  • Understanding of scales and x-ray equipment 
  • This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 50 lbs. 
  • Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands. 
  • Frequent standing and walking are required in this job.
