PRODUCTION OPERATOR III

Job Overview

The Production Operator 3 is responsible for set-up, troubleshooting and running machines to produce parts for upstream processes. They verify the finished product meets quality expectations while performing required tasks in a safe and efficient manner aligned with machine targets. Extended period of standing/sitting are required for the position dependent upon task assigned. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs is required to move material to or away from the machine they are running.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure tooling/product for conformance. Inspection equipment includes comparator, micrometers, dial calipers and gages
  • Identifies and isolates any product/material not meeting quality standards
  • Diagnosis root cause of nonconforming parts/material and makes necessary machine adjustment to bring parts/material back within specification
  • Can prioritize tasks based upon production requirements and is self-directed in completing such requirements throughout the shift.

What your background should look like

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

GED/high school diploma is preferred

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $46,000 - 68,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
