Material Handler I (2nd Shift)

Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:15pm-1:15am

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Position Overview: Working in the Warehouse Area and will be responsible for storing, maintaining, and distributing materials to the manufacturing floor ensuring timely delivery to the production schedule. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Delivers and stages raw materials, components, and work in process to Production work centers. 
•    Processing warehouse materials transactions on ERP system via the handheld scanner or the computer.
•    Maintains proper labeling and weights of raw materials- Accuracy with numbers is key in this role.
•    A team player who can work Independently and cooperatively with peers in a fast pace environment.
•    Performs other duties as needed or assigned and to be flexible to work 1st shift in some occasions.
•    Ensures proper cleanliness of equipment and work area in accordance with company housekeeping, safety, environmental, and TEOA guidelines.
 

What your background should look like:

Education and/or Experience
•    High School Diploma or GED required.
•    Minimum of one-year related experience in materials handling & inventory control processing Materials transactions using an ERP System Preferred. 
•    Prior Forklift Experience Preferred- Stand up and Sit down-
•    Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
•    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor, press operator, and fellow employees. 
•    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
•    ERP  SAP experience is a plus. 
•    Prior working experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.


Physical Demands: 
•    Stand, walk, talk, and Reach with hands and arms. 
•    Walk through narrow aisles.
•    Stoop, kneel, crouch ,go up and down ladders.
•    Frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds.
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision & color vision.
 

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
