Job Overview

TE Connectivity: Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance - Electrical Systems Support

The Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams at TE Connectivity play a crucial role in driving plant improvements through enhanced processes and equipment. This position focuses on providing comprehensive electrical system support, which includes design, programming, troubleshooting, and installation. Working collaboratively with engineering, maintenance, and operations, this role will ensure that the electrical controls and safety systems of our equipment meet high standards.

- Review electrical wiring and systems within the manufacturing facility.
- Design and build circuitry to meet TE and industry safety standards.
- Program and design Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to support electro-mechanical system integration.
- Document and identify electrical diagrams accurately.
- Independently install and validate all electrical systems.
- Recommend potential upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems for enhanced performance.
- Lead organization-wide transformations toward end-to-end supply chain responsibilities.
- Support Maintenance and Engineering teams in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- Maintain working knowledge of electrical documentation and report generation.

What your background should look like:

  • Certificate in Applied Electrical Maintenance and/or Associated Degree in Electronics
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical/electronics. 
  • Advanced working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers with the ability to design, program, and troubleshoot
  • Manufacturing experience with knowledge of various mechanical and electromechanical systems in equipment

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $67,400 – $101,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
