Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Job Qualifications

 

Educational Degree    
Minimum BS in Engineering/Technical education 

 

Professional Experience     (in what processes and function)    
•    Experience in Automotive industry required
•    Experience with quality related activities, Problem Solving 
•    Experience with product manufacturing / shop floor
•    Experience in manufacturing of electro-mechanical components (sensors preferred)

 

Professional Experience    
5 years at a minimum

 

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills    
Basic Requirements (mandatory):

•    Knowledge of IATF16949 requirements, including CSR
•    Knowledge of Automotive core tools  - APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC
•    Advanced Problem Solving skills 
•    Auditing qualification: IATF16949, VDA 6.3 
•    Knowledge of LEAN philosophy
•    Experience using statistical software such as Minitab

 

Additional Requirements:

•    Certified Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
