YOUR MAIN TASKS:
- Search for new projects aligned with plant competencies, project financial parameters. Project database care.
- Discovering improvement opportunities for existing projects.
- Paper preparation for management decisions, including reports and presentations
- Work within core team from start-up phase to serial production, including work with Planisware and EP&C system, review of specifications, drawings, technologies, layouts, offers, calculations, sample production, test results, open points lists. Taking a part in gate reviews and other project decisions.
- Implementation of new projects including cross-functional team co-ordination and vendors’ co-ordination.
- Creation of specifications and other draft documentation
- Negotiations with vendors, review of offers, assessment of capabilities at suppliers
- Establishing of project plan, co-ordination of FMEA, Flow Chart, Control Plan, Work Instructions and other documentation
- Design reviews, Open point list and action plan co-ordination
- Machine acceptance at vendors or other TE sites
- Care about availability of components, packaging material, logistical operations, tool transport
- Customer audit preparation and co-ordination
- Co-operation with other TE teams including foreign plants, written and spoken communication, data exchange, business trips
- Design for manufacturing - contributing on reaching a product design compliant with TE Industrial Targets and allowing maximum Production Profitability
- Lean industrial design
- Defining and tracking main Industrial Performance indicators
- Responsible for reaching target – cycle time, scrap rate, machine performance
YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:
- University degree in technical field (mechanical engineering preffered)
- Relevant experience (2+ years) on similar position, experience in project management
- Good knowledge of Project management system
- Statistical approach – 6 sigma methodology, Red-X,..
- Advanced knowledge of technical drawings
- Basic knowledge eDrawings, CREO
- Basic knowledge of designing of single-purpose machines
- Good knowledge of MS Office Standard tools – Outlook/Word/Excel
- PowerPoint
- Advanced knowledge of MS Project
- Knowledge of TE Project sharepoint as advantage
- Experience from automotive environment as advantage
- Level of English language: B2
- according to Common European Reference for Languages
- German language as advantage
- Driving licence B mandatory
