R2R ACCOUNTANT

JOB OVERVIEW:
TE Connectivity has a Finance shared service centre in Krakow to support the centralized processing of select finance functions including Record to Report (R2R) processes. This position will report to the R2R Process Delivery Supervisor and be a member of the R2R team focused on Financial Reporting, Intercompany Accounting, Month End Close Processes, and Fixed Assets.
Hybrid role: 1 day working in the office per week
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Back-up and support R2R Accountants
- Complete required close activities incl. journal entry posting preparation
- Execute accounts reconciliation with a focus on financial risk identification and follow-up
- Prepare Trial Balance and perform all related validation checks for non-complex entities
- Complete period-end-close activities according to the established calendar including the financial reporting package in HFM (financial statement and supplementals)
- Support new migration of R2R processes for non-complex entities
- Support on Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to safeguard all critical activities
- Update desktop procedures as per cadence
- Assist auditors and tax advisors with the audit process fulfilment
- Ensure a robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes as per SOX requirements and respective local statutory regulations
- Execute Control Self-Assessment (CSA) activities of the internal controls framework
- Ensure all performance metrics are regularly fulfilled as per targets with adherence to the internal deadlines
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
- 1+ years of relevant experience (min. 6 months of experience in General Accounting or 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable)
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good command of English
- Good accounting background
- Solid analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems
- Experience with SAP
