Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.

Job Description

RESPONSABILITIES: 

  • Assist in the analysis of daily managerial situations impacting the assigned product lines:
  1. Providing product information to customers and/or the sales team
  2. Support on documentation creation (data sheet, customer drawing, catalog and installation instruction)
  3. Performing product cost analysis and supporting cost reduction projects
  4. Follow the creation of new part numbers
  5. Analyzing excess and obsolete inventory
  6. Gathering product specification and product attribute information for the development of marketing collateral, including e-catalog and TE.com
  • Coordinate and implement product and applications training for customers, sales, customer service, applications engineering, etc.
  • Research products and markets to maintain competitive intelligence
  • Gather product-related customer feedback and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure products are released on time and per customer requirements (the review, understanding and communication of technical specifications and documentation is critical)
  • Maintain industry, technical, application knowledge and other skills to increase personal effectiveness

 

YOUR BACKROUND:

  • Familiarity and experience leveraging a commercial tool kit, VOC, Market Segmentation, Strategic Pricing, Customer communication etc, 
  • Experience influencing others and getting things done through others,
  • Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills,
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills  (fluent English is a must) 
  • The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes,
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, 
  • Previous experience in Sales, Marketing, Product or Manufacturing Management,
  • Experience in the field of Electrical Connectors or Components ideally in the mentioned product areas is a preferred.
