The Integrated Operations Network (ION) is TE Connectivity’s global operating model that unites operations and supply chain teams across all sectors and business units. It strengthens alignment by sharing best practices, driving operational excellence, and communicating common priorities. As ION has expanded its internal storytelling and leadership communication - especially around safety culture and cross‑BU messaging - we are moving toward a more structured, proactive, and data‑driven communications approach. To support this next phase, we are hiring a Communications Intern who will assist with daily ION Communications needs, contribute to key Health & Safety projects, and help deliver compelling stories across TE’s global organization.

Your main tasks

  • Assist in drafting, editing, and publishing content for global internal channels (newsletters, SharePoint, myTE, videos, presentations).
  • Support Health & Safety communications, including awareness campaigns, Safety Moments, site stories, and updates tied to our global safety priorities.
  • Help maintain and improve MS SharePoint pages.
  • Support communications for internal events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas and creative concepts in collaboration with the ION Communications team. 

What your background should look like

  • Business fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Public Relations
  • Good writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Good domain of MS SharePoint tools is a plus.
  • Interest in digital tools or content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently, be proactive, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfort collaborating with cross‑functional and global colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • A creative mindset and willingness to try new ideas.
  • Positive attitude, openness to feedback, and a growth mentality.
