Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Marketing Teams are responsible for marketing our company's products and/or services including market research, direct marketing, market development and communications.

The position for a Product Marketing Analyst will be within the Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) marketing department.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities: Generate customer demand and loyalty by developing, deploying and measuring the results of clear and compelling product marketing communications for both new product introductions (NPIs), legacy product promotions and technology solutions.

  • Creating and executing a comprehensive integrated marketing plan from concept to final execution to drive key product introductions and existing product sales for all products within the roadmap

  • Ensuring we are effectively bringing products to both our internal (sales) and external (client) customers by taking ownership for the launch planning and go-to-market process

  • Working with Product Managers and Engineers to tell the TE/BU product story, ensuring all market-facing communications deliver clear, compelling, differentiated messages that drive customer engagement and response

  • Creating effective marketing programs that support both high impact product launches and improve sales in weaker product lines by driving sales and brand preference

  • Working with internal and external creative resources to lead development of videos, data sheets, presentations, brochures, training materials, etc. that result in lead generation and product sales

  • Integrating channel partners marketing programs into all product marketing plan

  • Defining, measuring and reporting on the return of all demand marketing activities and investments

 

Key Tasks / Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in English, Journalism, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3-5 years of product marketing experience including a demonstrated ability to produce engaging long form content and short form content.
  • Relevant ICT product or connector product industry experience desired. Experience in B2B and Electronics as part of a multi-national business preferred. 
  • Position requires flexibility regarding domestic Travel (10%).
  • The position will be based out of Kettering, OH or Winston-Salem, NC.  
  • Use internal and external knowledge sources to quickly gain understanding of a new product or feature, attending selected trade shows (as needed) to understand and view competitive information and new technologies
  • Create and help proof product accuracy in emails, case studies, infographics, product sheets, LADD and TE.com web page copy to support new and existing products
  • Capture marketing leads through marketing automation technologies such as Salesforce.com and Eloqua    
  • Photograph & digitize products in inventory to support website.
  • Work with marketing team members to support materials for trade shows
