Job Overview:
The TS Operations & Engineering Rotation Program is a 26-month accelerated development program for high-caliber early-career talent with the potential to become future leaders across Operations and Engineering.

Your first rotation as an R&D/Product Development Engineer will provide a strong foundation in automotive product development. You will work with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, learn how engineering decisions affect product performance and business results, and take ownership of defined design and verification deliverables with support and coaching from experienced Engineering leaders.

This is not an observation-based program. You’ll be expected to learn quickly, use data to solve real business problems, and contribute measurable results. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who wants to learn quickly, solve meaningful business challenges, and grow into broader Engineering leadership roles.

This role is to develops individual products or specific design elements in medium-sized projects, for automotive low-voltage, high-voltage, and data connectivity connectors and terminals on time, on cost, on quality based on OEMs, Tier 1 milestone and requirements.

Key responsibilities:
- Product Design ensuring to create drawing with design verification including Design FEMA, DV Plan & Result , Cross functional change point matrix.  
- Supporting senior engineers in using basic engineering tools to get desired results
- Work with customers to ensure required function and performance are correctly reflected into DFM - design for manufacturing. 
- Ensuring to follow VA/VE (Value Analysis /Value Engineering) as of product life cycle continually progressing cost efficiency to the company & the market. 
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Project Management, Manufacturing/Process Development Engineering, Testing, Quality, Operations, Procurement, and SCM to deliver the right product on time, at target cost, and to the required quality.

What your background should look like

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with mechanical, materials or electrical degrees 
- Master’s degree with mechanical or electrical degrees are welcome 
- 3D-CAD ,CAE specifically static-structural, thermal-electric
- Fluent in Japanese. Proficiency in English, Mandarin is a plus

- Ability to effectively develop cohesive relationships with management, employees, vendors and visitors
- Work based on 3 Gen Principle (Three Actuals : Genchi/Go and See, Genbutsu/Actual Parts, Genjitsu/Actual Situation)
