The program combines structured development, cross-functional experiences, leadership exposure, and meaningful business impact, creating a strong foundation for long-term career growth at TE.

Job Requirements

As the Operation Development Associate, your first rotation as a Production Supervisor will provide a strong foundation in manufacturing operations and frontline leadership. You will work directly with production teams and cross-functional partners, learn how operational decisions affect safety, quality, delivery, cost, and business performance, and take ownership of key operational priorities with guidance and coaching from experienced Operations leaders.

This is not an observation-based program. You will be expected to learn quickly, use data to solve real business problems, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and deliver measurable business results. This role provides a hands-on leadership opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn, solve meaningful business challenges, and grow into broader Operations leadership roles within TE.

The role is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations, leading continuous improvement activities, developing frontline leadership capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people management objectives.

Key responsibilities:

- Production Management: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities to meet production schedules, customer requirements, and operational targets.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe workplace, ensure compliance with EHS standards, and drive a strong safety culture.
- Quality Improvement: Ensure products meet quality standards, reduce defects and quality issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop production team leaders and operators, while fostering accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and operational excellence initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance.
- Resource Management: Optimize labor, equipment utilization, maintenance coordination, inventory control, and cost management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to solve operational issues and achieve business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze production KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement improvement actions to ensure sustainable results.
