Transfer Engineer

YOUR MAIN TASKS:

• Futuris Execution – manage equipment movements in line with TE strategy
• Focus on process and tool transfers with a strong project management approach
• Manage tool transfers (including molding tools, stamping DIEs, assembly equipment, assembly equipment and automatic lines)
• Lead internal meetings with production departments to update them on transfer status
• Collaborate with colleagues from transfer teams across all TE plants
• Create a PTT Checklist (Process and tool transfer checklist)  
• Organize and lead E2E calls (covering the completion of all transfer-related activities)
• Coordinate transfers between TE plants, TE and Suppliers and among suppliers.
• Collect all necessary documentation for transfers in accordance with transfer procedure QMP_ EMEA_025
• Ensure the availability of transferred documentation such as flow chart, control plan, FMEA, work instructions, material descriptions, packaging, etc.
• For molding transfers, coordinate the Spare parts policy, share tool drawings and manuals via Move It
• Support the creation of PCN (Process Change Notification) in close cooperation with the Change Management Team
• Organize regular team calls to monitor transfer progress, arrange the transfer dates with customers and track milestone progress from initiation to customer serial production release
• Prepare time plans for safety stock production in collaboration with planning department
• Generate reports (Excel, PowerPoint) and maintain the Transfer Application
• Coordinate the transportation of equipment between plants (packaging, transportation) with focus on EHS
• Prepare documentations for Steering Committee’s decisions on transfers

YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:

• High school diploma or university degree (technical background is an advantage)
• Previous experience with Project Management as an advantage
• MS Office – Excel (charts and graphs creation), Outlook, PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• English – B2 level or higher, fluent in speaking and writing, German is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindse
