Purchasing Supervisor (NPI) with home-office

We would like to welcome to our international team a colleague on the position: NPI (New Product Introduction) Purchasing Supervisor
 

Job overview:

• Support purchasing team with target cost commitment to facilitate project acquisition phase
• Creating the NPI road map to communicate the Product Line future requirements, goals and objectives
• Driving cost reduction initiatives using typical Procurement leverage such as incremental volume or VA/VE opportunities 
• Ensuring compliance with company's Supply Chain strategy regarding low inventory, lean value streams and days of payables outstanding
• Coaching and leading two other team members (in the future even more)
• Identifying and driving process improvements
   

Place of work:
This position is based in the modern TE Connectivity plant in Kuřim - one of our largest in Europe focused on production for automotive. However, we offer around 50% home office, exact time is always upon agreement. Occasional business trips (around 20% of work time) might occur within Europe.
 

Ideal experience and skills for this position:

• Several years of experience in procurement and/or technical field, e.g. process engineering, product engineering, tool manufacturing
• Experience in project management
• Extensive experience in working with multicultural and cross functional teams
• Leadership experience (direct and/or functional reporting)
• Fluency in English
