Job Overview
What you will do:
- Autonomous management and coordination of logistics processes.
- Close cooperation with manufacturing departments, Global Logistics team and support AUT BU in CZ.
- Further development of warehouse logistics system.
- Cooperation by implementing of operational metrics and measurements and ensure operations and costs are managed to metrics and goals.
- Use knowledge of TEOA (identification of bottlenecks, the definition of savings, VSM, Six Sigma).
- Close cooperation with AUT EMEA WH and distribution centers managers regarding TEOA and lean processes.
- Identify and calculate logistics performance and costs (logistic controlling).
- Sharing best practices across AUT EMEA WH.
- Further development and optimization of processes and material flow, cooperation on the projects related to Kurim and changes in material flow.
- Responsibility for WH utilization, support and coordinate inventory in WH / project management, ISO standards, customer audits, monthly reporting and analysis.
- Support of transport systems and traffic support team.
- Cooperate with customs and support trade compliance Kurim.
- Keeping up to date logistics processes.
- Active part member of the supply chain projects related to Kurim.
- Support and negotiate with production departments and OV related to AUT CZ
What your background should look like:
Education
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferably logistics education
Professional experience
- Min 5 years in logistics- managing logistic departments
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Exceptional knowledge on logistics operations in international areas
- Strong leader and the ability to manage projects and people
- Analytical skills including financial analysis
- Demonstrated skills in performance management, communication & mentoring
- Good, effectively & confident presentation skills
- Project Management Skills
- Strong knowledge of the logistics industry
- System skills in SAP and other ERP systems
Language skills
- Level of English language according to Common European Reference for Languages: C1;
- German - beneficial
