TRANSPORTATION ANALYST II

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Traffic Administration Teams are responsible for the coordination and consolidation of domestic and international systems to support shipments. They ensure lowest cost transportation is used by analyzing company and customer needs, researching transportation methods, and auditing carrier costs and performance. They also interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.

What your background should look like:

JD as below:
•    Freight, duty and distribution annual budget preparation and proposal, freight forecast adjustment.
•    Freight market trend heads up and action plan.
•    Freight, duty and distribution cost analysis and control to achieve expense target and drive transportation optimization projects to achieve saving target.
•    Freight bills check and spot quote review
•    Forwarder and agent performance management 
•    Transportation related issues like projects and annual re-costing supporting. 
•    Transportation process continuously optimization
•    Other shipping and logistic related tasks assigned by department head.

Requirements:
•    At least 5 years transportation and logistics related experience, familiar with international transportation market operation
•    Excellent data analysis ability, data sensitive and excellent logical thinking ability
•    Proactive, high responsibility and patience
•    Good communication and coordination ability to work with cross functions and multiple countries.
•    Proficient in English listening, speaking and writing.
•    Proficient in office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
