Your main tasks:
- Implement procedures on sustainability within the procurement organization aligned with global and local standards
- Lead the development and execution of the Scope 3 emissions reduction roadmap across key direct material categories (e.g., base metals, precious metals, electronic components, PBL stamped/moulded/diecast parts)
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainable procurement
- Prepare reports on sustainability initiatives and progress for management and external stakeholders
- Assess and monitor suppliers' environmental and social performance
- Conduct sustainability risk assessments for key suppliers and commodities
- Partner closely with category managers and sourcing teams to embed sustainability criteria into sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and negotiation processes
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve their sustainability performance
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to foster innovation in circularity, closed-loop systems, and end-of-life recovery initiatives
- Identify opportunities for improving sustainability
- Stay up-to-date with global sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops or forums to align internal stakeholders on decarbonization goals, trade-offs, and procurement decisions.)
Your ideal background:
- 7 years’ experience in procurement, 3 years within Sustainability scope
- High experiences in procurement practices, regulations and sustainability framework
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of role and application of data – analytics – insights
- Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continuous improvement attitude
- Technical know-how in production process and the influencing parameter on sustainability
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams
- Self-confidence and negotiation skills
- Critical thinking & curiosity
- Fluent English both written and spoken
- Drive for solution
- Supplier management and development (experience preferred)
- Team player
