We are building a new team ! Main goal: driving Supplier development initiatives with measurable results of opportunities in a crossfunctional team (4-8 people).
Main tasks:
Cost Performance: Drive savings acceleration projects through coordination of sampling, mold/die trials, and tooling transfers.
Delivery Performance: Lead supplier workshops and initiatives aimed at reducing lead times and improving delivery performance.
Quality Performance: Lead support for quality complaints using the 8D methodology; ensure timely and effective root cause analysis and resolution.Manage and execute supplier audits, including process, quality system, and certification audits.
Supplier Onboarding & Training: Lead onboarding of new or transitioning suppliers, ensuring readiness post-footprint or sourcing changes.Support alternative supplier development and capability ramp-up.
Supplier Management: Manage supplier compliance and sustainability escalations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Coordinate supplier QBRs and communicate supplier performance updates to relevant functions.Conduct risk assessments and escalate red flags, issues, and performance concerns.
Digital Tools Implementationo Lead supplier enablement and ongoing support for SAP S4/Hana and MDG.Guide suppliers in the adoption and effective use of SupplyOn
Your ideal background:
Stage I – Preparation
What is needed?
- Strong command of MS Office and SAP for analysis and documentation
- Ability to choose and apply the right analytical tools (e.g., SWOT, fact sheets)
- Leading and facilitating remote kick‑off meetings in cross‑functional teams, internally and with suppliers across EMIA
- Positive, open‑minded, and confident professional presence
- Clear and impactful communication with project teams
- Solid understanding of operational and business processes
Stage II – Execution
What is needed?
- Advanced skills in MS Office for analysis and documentation
- Ability to lead and facilitate onsite workshops in cross‑functional teams
- Proficiency in using best‑practice tools such as TE standards, GEMBA walk, 5 Why, Ishikawa, brainstorming, etc., tailored to each initiative
- Impactful communication, especially toward suppliers — clearly articulating value and benefits
- Strong understanding of operational and business processes
- High level of discipline and excellent time management
Stage III – Sustain & Recognition
What is needed?
- Ability to monitor, follow up and sustain defined actions with team members and suppliers
- Confidence in making decisions regarding next steps
- Persistence and consistency in driving agreed actions
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ideal background in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain or Procurement.
- Willingness to travel /50%/ in EMIA region, (50% Office/50% onsite)
- Language skills: English (French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Indian – advantage)
