Strategic Sourcing Analyst provides global support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Key compliance areas include, but are not limited to: RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, FMD, and other Industrial related compliance requirements. Additionally, this position requires leading and developing sustainability initiatives within the procurement organization.
Your main tasks:
- Work as team leader to develop compliance tracking processes, as BU coordinator align with global procurement compliance projects
- Provide team with quick access of Compliance status for all areas, such as RoHs, REACH, Conflict Minerals etc. by regions and commodities
- Provide training to team members on compliance subjects, utilization of key resources
- Lead annual compliance champions and achieve defined targets
- Lead and resolve customer request on FMD, and other industrial related compliance topics
- Coordinate among PM, Sales, PE and sourcing team to feed procured PN compliance to FN requirements
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of supplier compliance contacts through SSU and supplier portal
- Provide training to suppliers in utilization of supplier portal for compliance data feed
- Establish regular communications with supplier compliance leads to ensure all products compliance data are provided to TE timely and accurately.
- Provide strategic sourcing supplier leads with supplier compliance status to be communicated during supplier quarterly business review for evaluation and escalations.
- Implement procedures on sustainability within the procurement organization aligned with global and local standards
- Lead the development and execution of the Scope 3 emissions reduction roadmap across key direct material categories
- Assess and monitor suppliers' environmental and social performance
- Conduct sustainability risk assessments for key suppliers and commodities
- Stay up to date with global sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices
Your ideal background:
- 7 years of experience in procurement, including 3 years in the sustainability area
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Solid understanding of data, analytics, and insights application
- Strong customer focus, solution-oriented attitude and continuous improvement mindset
- Technical knowledge of production processes and their impact on sustainability
- Experience working in a matrix environment with multicultural teams
- Critical thinking & curiosity
- Fluent English both written and spoken, local language is a plus
- Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
