Senior EMEA Indirect Tax Specialist

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

For our location in Krakow we are looking for a Senior Indirect Tax Specialist EMEA. This is a new position as we are expanding our footprint at our Krakow site, and the position is ready to be filled as soon as possible

Your responsibilities

•    Perform E2E tasks in the scope of Indirect Tax & Compliance reporting (VAT, ESL, Intrastat, Annual Declarations and VAT accounts reconciliations) with focus on TE’s German Entities.
•    Support implementation of standard processes and procedures.
•    Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes.
•    Build strong relationship within the Team and relevant stakeholders from other FSC Teams (R2R, O2C and S2P) and Business Units.

What your background should look like:

•    Strong motivation to develop within Indirect Taxes.
•    3-5 years of experience in European Indirect Tax Compliance, ideally gained in a large multinational.  
•    Good knowledge in German VAT filing and compliance.
•    Demonstrated experience working independently, prioritizing tasks.
•    Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Support the Team Lead in reviews and managing tasks.
•    Excellent analytical skills with very good knowledge in Excel and SAP. 
•    High level of confidence, team spirit, integrity and motivation.
•    Fluency in English. German is a plus.
