RtR Junior Process Manager

Job Overview

In order to drive efficient back-office operations, TE Connectivity will establish two regional shared service centers to support centralized processing of select finance functions including Record to Report (R2R) processes.
This position will report to the R2R Process Delivery Lead and lead R2R Cluster of teams in the planning, management and delivery of in US GAAP scope processes including Month End Close, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Intercompany Processing, Fixed Assets and any other related managerial and decision activities. 

Key responsabilities:

  • Manage a cluster of R2R teams (approx. 30 FTEs in total) with R2R Team Leads as direct reports 
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced
  • Rationalize operating costs (overtime proper management, salary optimization, role diversification)
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert for R2R process related topics 
  • Drive process standardization with a strong support and engagement for project handling/ working groups    
  • Manage the completion of required close activities including review when applicable 
  • Oversee timely submission of HFM financial reports as per US GAAP standards 
  • Ensure the quality and completeness for accounts reconciliation with approval role /sub-delegation  
  • Appropriately manage and escalate issues with service delivery
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R 
  • Run daily huddles with a dedicated operating team and participate actively in the leadership meetings 
  • Interface Internal Audit representatives with adherence to the audit requirements 
  • Coordinate all local (external) statutory audits with all impacted processes as delivered 
  • Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes
  • Ensure fulfillment of all relevant controlling metrics (key performance indicators) continuously improving on performance benchmarks
  • Proactively monitor and operate a robust SOX and internal control environment
  • Build strong relationship with key stakeholders and take a lead for Performance Review meeting
  • Ensure Business Continuity Plan procedure is valid in place 

What your background should look like:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in the leadership role. 
  • Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Prior experience in managing R2R functions in a shared services environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Proficiency in English 
  • Strong accounting background
