Product Information Engineer with French

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Information Teams interact with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions. They answer questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of assigned products. Their product knowledge and expertise is critical to responding to daily customer-centric activities. They may promote and sell our company's products or services as well as investigate and resolve customer complaints. A key area of focus is to develop strong business relationships via TE's Extraordinary Customer Experience strategy.

What your background should look like:


Key tasks:

  • Responding to customers’ request for quotes: entering opportunities in CRM system, finding the best technical product solution that satisfies the customer’s needs, giving technical advice and send out quotes based on tailor-made solutions
  • Assisting in the sales cycle from start to close of an opportunity & follow-up on execution of the sold solution
  • Working closely with Customers and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Customer Service,…) in a benefit oriented, and solution specific role. Help bridge the gap to find the best solutions for a win-win for customer and TE Energy
  • Collaborating on custom requirements and standards for our customers
  • Supporting our Customers and Sales in making the most of their TE solutions, advising on workflows and processes, and implementing solutions.
  • Working closely with EMEA customer Service, to bridge the gap between product related questions and our sales team
  • Working on and supporting of the product creation process
  • Supporting our nuclear specific process, in collaboration with Customer Service and our Operations team in France
  • Assisting in enhancing product quality working closely with EMEA Product Managers
  • Maintain awareness of relevant industry trends, best practices and government regulations.


Your profie:

  • Strong technical background and interest to learn technical energy product (system) solutions
  • Electrical Engineering degree an asset but not a must
  • 2+ years of experience as product specialist
  • Order Management & SAP knowledge is an asset
  • French and English C1 Level a must
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong people skills including managing client meetings and optimally serving demanding customers
  • Ability to explain complex issues and solutions to audiences of different levels of knowledge and seniority
  • Outgoing personality with strong team working and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills with the drive & commitment to own and deliver
