We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Pricing Performance Analyst to support the development, monitoring, and optimization of pricing strategies across multiple regions and product groups. The role will play a critical part in understanding commercial and pricing performance, identifying key pricing drivers, forecasting price variance, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Commercial, Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Pricing Leadership teams to evaluate the effectiveness of price initiatives, assess market dynamics, manage tariff-related impacts, and recommend actions that drive profitable growth while mitigating business headwinds.
Your main tasks:
Pricing Performance, Analytics & Optimization
- Drive pricing and commercial performance analysis across regions, customer segments, and product categories, identifying key drivers impacting revenue, margin, profitability, and market competitiveness.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to optimize pricing strategies, improve business performance, and maximize value realization.
Root Cause Analysis & Performance Management
- Lead investigations into pricing variances, margin fluctuations, and deviations from plan, forecast, and historical performance, identifying root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with commercial and pricing stakeholders to implement corrective actions, monitor outcomes, and measure the effectiveness of pricing initiatives.
Forecasting, Pricing Modeling & Governance
- Develop forecasts, scenario analyses, and pricing models to assess margin impacts, pricing trends, elasticity, and business risks.
- Support the design, implementation, and governance of pricing frameworks, ensuring data-driven pricing decisions and consistency across the organization.
Tariff & External Market Impact Management
- Assess the financial impact of tariffs, regulatory changes, and external market developments on profitability, and recommend mitigation strategies to manage associated risks and costs.
- Support leadership through scenario planning, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations related to market and trade dynamics.
Strategic Business Support
- Provide analytical and strategic support for operating plans, forecasts, business reviews, and executive decision-making through insightful analyses, dashboards, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align pricing strategies with broader business objectives while balancing market conditions, inflationary pressures, and competitive dynamics.
Your ideal background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Business Analytics, or Revenue Management.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI (preferred), or similar analytical tools.
- Strong understanding of pricing concepts, profitability analysis, and financial performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multinational or regional pricing organizations.
- Knowledge of tariff management, trade policies, and market economics.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
