This role is ideal for a process-minded professional with a strategic mindset and strong commercial acumen.
What your background should look like
1. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Serve as the central point of contact between BU Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and O2C teams (communication flow regarding strategy changes, new structure, DoA updates, projects, special requirements, situations requiring particular attention, and new relevant tools or process changes).
- Collaborate directly with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making on credit terms and dispute resolution.
- Lead and drive strategic initiatives across multiple business units and geographies.
2. Celonis-Driven Process Optimization
- Leverage Celonis to analyze aging trends, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and collections effectiveness.
- Identify and estimate bad debt reserves and build predictive models to flag at-risk revenue based on customer behavior.
- Provide real-time, actionable insights into dispute resolution bottlenecks, promise-to-pay trends, and cash collection forecasts.
3. Credit & Collections Strategy
- Conduct collection calls and handle escalations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver robust credit risk analytics in partnership with Sales and BU Finance.
- Propose process changes across teams to ensure efficiency.
- Cooperate with the O2C Global Process Owner, supporting O2C initiatives at a global level.
4. Reporting, KPIs, and Automation
- Contribute to O2C KPI definition and automation efforts.
- Support data cleanup and automation initiatives to improve forecast accuracy.
5. Business Understanding & Capability Building
- Participate in cross-training assignments within BUs to gain FP&A and operational insights.
- Help build a robust knowledge pipeline within the FSC to ensure business continuity during resource gaps (e.g., long-term leaves).
- Drive ongoing cross-functional process improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Perform analysis of BU situations from an O2C perspective and recommend next steps.
6. Drive Continuous Improvement Across BUs and Segments
- Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives across business units and segments to enhance process standardization, reduce inefficiencies, and align best practices.
- Actively identify systemic process gaps and recommend long-term scalable solutions in collaboration with process owners and stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, kaizen events, and cross-functional forums to drive alignment, innovation, and roadmap execution.
Your ideal background
- 5–8 years of experience in Finance, O2C, FP&A, or cross-functional coordination roles in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior stakeholders (Sr. Manager, Director, VP level).
- Strong working knowledge of Celonis or other process mining/analytics tools OR willing to learn new tools
- Solid understanding of credit management, cash flow, collection strategies etc.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset.
