FP&A Junior Analyst - Plant Controlling

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.


We are looking for an FP&A Junior Analyst position to be part of the operational Plant Controlling team of TE Connectivity Energy supporting the financials of both Ottobrunn and Falkenberg sites. The role will be expected to produce timely and accurate financial information and provide business relevant consulting. 


•    Products costing
•    First point of contact with PM teams for costing activities and owner of the monthly ICC (interim cost change) process and submission
•    Support in the annual re-costing process
•    Assist with preparation of capital spending requests, financial analysis including lease vs. buy, management of spending, updated spending forecasts, and project status updates
•    Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly, annually Forecast & Budget by providing different type of sound analysis to enable transparency on trends, KPI analysis.

•    Support with the preparation of the Monthly manufacturing performance results pack and submission
•    Maintain and update dataset of plant performance figures and KPI and distribute to the Ops teams
•    Support in preparation of presentation for Continuous improvement reviews

WEEKLY reporting
•    Weekly reporting of actual results against forecast and review with Plant Controller and Ops Team
•    Prepare data set of weekly reports (block stock, weekly scrap, plant information, weekly HC efficiency, material variance)

           Support operations team with special projects and ad-hoc plant finance requests as needed              
           Continuous improvement of processes, systems, and reports 
           Responsible for maintaining SOW
           Permanent controls aiming to ensure compliance with company policies
           Provide assistance with internal and external audit requirements  
           Business partner and support to the local Operations team and Plant Controller


What your background should look like:

•    University Degree or equivalent in Economic, finance, or Accounting
•    Preferably 2 years costing and accounting experience in manufacturing site.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, SAP experience would be an advantage
•    Fast learner and ability to also work independently
•    Proactive, hardworking, good communication, execution, detail-oriented and good English on reading and writing. German would be an advantage
