FP&A Analyst - Plant Controlling

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

 

We are looking for an FP&A Junior Analyst position to be part of the operational Plant Controlling team of TE Connectivity Energy supporting the financials of both Ottobrunn and Falkenberg sites. The role will be expected to produce timely and accurate financial information and provide business relevant consulting. 

Responsibilities:

  • Business partner and support to the local Operations team and Plant Controller.
  • First point of contact for costing activities and owner of the monthly ICC (interim cost change) process and submission.
  • Provide assistance with internal and external audit requirements. 
  • Support in preparation of monthly, quarterly, annually Forecast & Budget by providing different type of sound analysis to enable transparency on trends, incl. KPI analysis.
  • Assist with preparation of capital spending requests, financial analysis including lease vs. buy, management of spending, updated spending forecasts and project status updates.

What your background should look like:

  • 2+ years of costing and accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing site.
  • University Degree or equivalent in Economic, Finance or Accounting.
  • Understanding of manufacturing organizations and supply chains, manufacturing budgeting, forecast processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, SAP experience would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in English, 
  • Fast learner and ability to also work independently.
