Job Overview

Primary purpose is to support JASEAN local operation finance team, which performs the analysis of financial information and data to be used in supporting our business in the attainment of company goals.

Job Requirements

- Support local Ops finance to improve the process of weekly/monthly review with Ops team, better cooperate with other functions and enhance the partnership between finance and non-finance.
- Develop or improve short-term and long-term financial analysis models that identify risk; provide actionable business insights and recommendations. Periodical track & monitor of financials (revenue, standard margin, manufacturing cost, PPV, MV, inventory, and CapEx), comparison to forecast attained and analysis of variances and profitability. 
- Support monthly closing and fcst reporting and recording of submission of financial package to management team (GAD)
- Lead and manage company standard cost development and maintenance in SAP modules and other costing systems.
- Actively participates in identifying and implementing cost reductions and working capital improvements. (pipelines track, record and monitors)
- Follow up internal audits process. SOX and internal control system development, enhancement and maintenance.
- Ad hoc support on project basis, provide financial support on business cases.
- Lead TEOA and finance projects from GAD or within AP region as process improvement initiatives

What your background should look like

- Graduated from University with a bachelor’s degree (majoring in accounting/finance, Business Administration, Economics etc). Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA or ACCA) preferred.
- 10+ years of finance and accounting experience including team management experience, more than 5 years, ideally with manufacturing company background.  Automotive industry companies preferred. 
- Solid costing experience in manufacturing plants
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Hyperion, SAP, BPC and data warehouse solutions.
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- High degree of initiative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
