Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure products and components meet specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products for performance and integrity to ensure quality, reliability, and suitability for release.

This role requires access to information controlled under ITAR or EAR regulations. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts for material defects and irregularities.
  • Conduct tests using appropriate NDT techniques.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and document results.
  • Generate and organize NDT reports, evaluating data for disposition.
  • Support root cause analysis for product and process failures.
  • Identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Analyze information skillfully.
  • Assist Quality Control Inspectors to ensure compliance with quality management system requirements.
  • Prepare QA reports as directed by the QA Manager.
  • Support non-conforming material control and equipment calibration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and drive product quality.
  • Assist in developing quality plans and implementing inspection and test procedures.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

 

What your background should look like:

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Prior certification as an NDT Level II inspector with two years of experience per SNT-TC1A standards.
    • Level II PT & VT Certifications (Required).
    • Graduate of an NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A certification.
    • 24 classroom hours in PT & VT.
    • Associate degree (High School + 2 years).
    • Certifications will be verified before an interview.

    • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and knowledgeable in ISO 9001.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $55,400 – $83,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
