FINANCE ANALYST III - PLANT OPERATIONS

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of financial performance by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions.
This is a key role in supporting the Controller on site to improve site processes, maintain strong controls and to lead the business in overall continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
• Perform Monthend Close Procedures which includes booking of journal entries, preparation of account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Perform daily and weekly reconciliatons of data from Global Shop Solutions ERP system with SAP, which includes revenue, inventory and GR/IR.
• Support the Controller in the drive of continuous improvement initiatives specifically on process documentation and review of internal controls strengths and weaknesses.
• Support the Controller in review of standard costing
• Perform monthly variance analysis
• Assist the Controller on creating budgets and forecast for the plant and measuring actuals with forecasts.
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and be able to apply them
• Supporting Shared Service Finance, including AR and AP
What your background should look like:
• SAP R/3 or other ERP System knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (emphasis on Excel) essential.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Experience working within a standard costing based environment beneficial
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to utilize these skills at all levels, with both internal and external customers/vendors.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, adhering to deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Understands business and can apply knowledge to costing, pricing, accounts receivable, and budgeting processes.
• Works well with all departments – encourages exchange of information.
• Organized and completes analysis and reports on time.
• 8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Skills: must be analytical and intuitive, self starter, strong oral and written communications skills, organization skills, effective partnering with sales and marketing.
• Must be proficient in the English language

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $86,640-129,960 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
