Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

What your background should look like:

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above with major in Safety, Environment or IH; 
More than 8 years’ experience in a multinational manufacturing company and at least 2 years team management experience.
Familiar with laws and regulations of local government and administrative bureaus in EHS area; 
Familiar with machine guarding & LOTO requirements and chemical management.
Strong leadership, responsibility, and initiative
Good communication and coordination ability. 
Excellent EHS professional knowledge of onsite EHS management

 

Responsibilities
Focus on EHS legal compliance
Good communication, coordination, and leadership to develop plant EHS performance by working with relevant functions
Coordinate and communicate with government agency to obtain the necessary permit related to EHS
Lead to implement the EHS target & annually plan
Continuously onsite inspection to identify the EHS risks and track to be improved
Make sure ISO 14001, ISO45001 management system implement effectively and keep continuously improvement
Be familiar with IH management, such as hearing conservation
Focus on chemical management, especially the high toxic chemical management
Be responsible for managing pollution prevention, energy saving and hazardous waste management & minimization
Develop and conduct the site-specific EHS training program
Maintain and continuously improve the EHS program of JSA, BBS, Ergo etc.
Emergency and Crisis/BCP Management, regularly training and exercises
Other tasks assigned by the leader.
