Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Market Insight
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop segment strategies, value propositions, and product roadmaps.
- Define go-to-market strategies and partner with R&D and Operations on new product development.
Business & Financial Management
- Build and align the annual business plan (sales, margin, pricing).
- Define resource needs and ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Manage P&L performance of the product portfolio.
New Product Development & Launch
- Lead NPI opportunities and launch planning.
- Provide demand forecasts for SIOP.
- Support customer engagements and collaborate with Marketing for launch materials.
Post-Launch Execution
- Ensure profitable growth and accurate forecasting.
- Support Sales with training and collateral.
- Manage product issues and special pricing requests.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop Regional Product Managers.
- Drive succession planning and capability development.
Key Metrics of Success
- Sales growth and market share
- Gross margin performance
- Inventory and cost reduction targets
- On-time NPI execution
- Forecast accuracy
- Talent development
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic mindset and business acumen
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and drive results
- Product application knowledge and pricing experience
- Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management or sales
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical field, or business
- MBA preferred
- Experience with utility connectors/fittings a strong plus
- Prior team leadership experience
