Assembly Operator I - Mask Making (Clean Room) - 1st/2nd Swing Shift

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our medical clean room manufacturing face masks that will be used to reduce the risk of contracting the Coronavirus (Covid-19)! 

 

•    Preparing machine for assembly process 
•    Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly machines
•    Load reels of strip fabric onto assembly machines
•    Make fine adjustments to properly align mating parts in machine
•    Clear jams and inspect finished products 
•    Prepare completed product for transport to other areas within facility

What your background should look like:

•    Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
•    Must be able to use a microscope to inspect parts
•    High energy, self-motivated, attention to detail and willingness to learn and advance in a fast paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

•    Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 37 lbs. 
•    Must be able to push a peak force of 34.5 lbs. 
•    Must be able to pull a peak force of 39.5 lbs. 
•    Frequent standing and balancing throughout the day is required in this job.
