Job Overview

What your background should look like:

Responsible to design, plan, organize, direct and control all engineering actions necessary to meet all customer requirements in form, cost and time. Responsible for managing the activities and functions of NPI, Localization, Capex, Automation, Tooling and Projects Engineering to ensure full customer satisfaction, in the development, implementation and/or improvement of products and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to lead & manange the Engineering Department. AME, NPI, Automation, Tooling and Projects.
  • Develop and lead the completion of the Engineering Strategic Plan: Savings, Technology, Capacity projects, etc.
  • Responsible of the Site CAPEX budget and projects deck.
  • Prepare and Present projects business cases and ROI for Management review and approval.
  • Authorize and justify purchases for the acquisition of equipment, machinery, tools, etc., necessary for the development of new products and / or models.
  • Lead regular project meetings with management and engineering team to track and report projects status and progress/processes.
  • Coordinate with BU teams as R&D, PM and Sales to develop manufacturing plans for new and insourced products.
  • Participate in the BU PAC Process.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of the products, processes, manufacture and assembly techniques and methods.
  • Support the implementation of TEOA methodoly across the Site, and according to the set targets.
  • Promotes and complies 100% with all EHS Programs.
  • Participates actively in the Site Engagement Program.


  • Experience in the metal-mechanical, molding, machining, etc. (required)
  • Professional with an Engineering Degree
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the position or similar.
  • Experience in managing Equipment Maintenance Dept, is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to provide mentoring and coaching to drive a cultural change and overcome obstacles.
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt or Lean Master highly desirable).
  • Self directed and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
