Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Value Stream Manager is responsible to plan and led the Manufacturing operation. Achieving and improving the metrics established in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Labor Efficiency, Waste, WIP Inventory Control, and Continuous Improvement through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the smooth running of all production areas and the quality of output. Driving an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements
  • Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the activities and functions of the Team (Program management, Production, Quality, Mfg. Eng., Planners, Maintenance) assigned to the Value Stream, ensuring maximum utilization of people, equipment, and materials
  • Calculates and submits for approval the labor requirements required to meet production schedules. Participates actively and proactively in Capacity Analysis based on incoming demand and forecast
  • Responsible of the NPI & Insource projects assigned to the Value Stream
  • Establishes training needs and development programs for the Value Stream organization. Ensures that training is conducted according to the approved training program
  • Coordinates and leads actions plans to improve OEE, Change-overs time, Labor efficiency, Scrap, Safety, Quality, and cost savings opportunities
  • Ensures that the production machinery and equipment of the Value Stream, receive the proper and on time preventive and autonomous maintenance
  • Responsible to stop any line, machinery, or activity when there are unsafe conditions or when it is suspected of a product, or a process identified as not conforming
  • Responsible to lead the CI transformation plans and kaizens for the Value Stream product lines, and in accordance the KPI targets established
  • Promotes and complies 100% with all EHS programs



  • Professional with an Engineering degree
  • +5 years as Value Stream Mgr. and/or Business Unit Mgr.
  • +3 years experience in Program Management or related field 
  • Fluent in English language
  • +3 years experience with Lean Six Sigma
