Job Overview

Oversees equipment maintenance and leads maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance in the organization to ensure a longer lifespan of machines and facilities.

Job Requirements

  • Overseeing maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling, and performance management to ensure measurable goals, goal satisfaction, and effective staff performance management.
  • Supervising and implementing continuous improvement projects to improve safety, quality, and efficiency through Kaizen, 8D, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Overseeing preventive and condition base maintenance targeting to achieve maximum availability of equipment and zero production downtime.
  • Developing and publishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to correctly utilize and maintain facilities throughout the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and supervise maintenance team members, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Execute and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize recurring failures and production downtime.
  • Manage departmental maintenance expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and equipment improvements.
  • Provide management with regular updates regarding maintenance performance, costs, and operational status.
  • Develop and monitor equipment downtime metrics, productivity reports, and maintenance KPIs.
  • Support the acquisition, installation, modification, and commissioning of machinery, equipment, and plant infrastructure.
  • Supervise maintenance activities related to critical plant utilities, including electricity, water, gas, compressed air, and HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Participate in audits, Gemba walks, Tier meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, maintenance standards, and management systems.

 


Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar maintenance leadership role.
  • Experience managing and developing maintenance personnel.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
