Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Global Manufacturing Engineering (ME) leads the Energy Business Unit (BU) in establishing and implementing best practice standard processes for the global manufacturing engineering and maintenance community. A major priority of this role is driving sustained improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through the implementation of programs such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and other continuous improvement initiatives. The role reports directly to the Senior Director, Manufacturing Process Development Engineering (MPDE) and requires significant collaboration with plant operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions, as well as with Engineering functions around the globe.
Job Requirements
• Collaborate with Corporate and BU manufacturing operations, engineering, and TEOA teams to identify and implement processes that drive operational efficiency and productivity.
• Establish roadmaps and systematic approaches for global implementation of TPM, SPC, First Pass Yield (FPY), Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY), and ME-driven TEBIT Conversion Pipeline.
• Contribute to defining operational strategy and developing organizations to support business objectives.
• Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, such as digitalization, automation, and Lean implementation, across multiple sites and cultures.
• Drive the rollout of standardized engineering and maintenance processes globally, ensuring integration into plant-level operations.
• Monitor execution and milestone attainment for global improvement initiatives.
• Lead ME-owned continuous improvement projects, leveraging TE Best and TE Manufacturing Engineering corporate teams for year-on-year productivity gains.
• Apply Lean principles and a customer-centric mindset to all responsibilities.
• Coordinate with site teams, regional engineering leads, quality teams, and operational leadership to ensure successful implementation and adoption of standard processes.
• Balance global standards with local flexibility to optimize operational efficiency and compliance.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the business.
• Assess the skills levels of Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams to identify capability gaps in core competencies (e.g., TPM, SPC, OEE management, digital manufacturing, automation)
• Support sites in developing robust training, coaching, and upskilling plans aligned with global ME standards.
• Partner with HR, regional engineering leaders, and plant management to build long-term technical and leadership capability pipelines.

Experience
• Recognized expert in manufacturing engineering with in-depth knowledge of TE Energy’s business, products, and processes.
• Experience operating and influencing at a strategic level.
• Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day demands.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 years’ experience, or Master’s degree with 12 years’ experience in relevant business management and engineering fields.

• Proven relationship management skills with the ability to manage across functions, teams, regions around the globe building high performance in connections.
• Results-oriented (a mindset, behavior, or approach that prioritizes achieving specific, measurable outcomes rather than focusing solely on processes or activities. It emphasizes accountability and performance) with strong project planning and delivery capabilities. PMP or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• Tools: Proficient in Data analytics (Power BI, Tableau), Simulation (Arena, FlexSim), IIoT platforms
