Job Overview

TE Connectivity's HR Business Partners implement Human Resources policies at the business unit level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives (i.e. succession, talent acquisition, total rewards and change management).  They foster partnership across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives, strategies and policies of the organization and work closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development.  In addition, HR Business Partners participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

 

Employee Relations & Workforce Support

Serve as the primary HR contact for plant employees and managers.
Address employee concerns promptly and ensure fair and consistent application of policies.
Support workforce planning and staffing needs for the plant.

 

HR Program Implementation

Execute HR programs and processes, including performance management, compensation cycles, and compliance training.
Ensure accurate and timely HR data management and reporting.
Partner with managers to identify training needs and coordinate development programs.

 

Talent & Engagement

Assist in talent acquisition for plant roles in collaboration with recruiting teams.
Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention.

 

Compliance & Policy

Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance requirements.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Experience supporting hourly and salaried workforce.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English required.
