Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector Technician to support product quality, manufacturing compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role serves as a key quality resource, partnering closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure materials, products, and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, medical device, industrial, or other highly regulated environments and possess strong skills in inspection, nonconformance management, root cause investigations, auditing, and quality systems administration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Document inspection results, manage quality records, and maintain accurate data within SAP and quality systems.
  • Identify, investigate, and support resolution of nonconforming materials and product quality issues.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, CAPA, and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
  • Support supplier quality processes, including nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.
  • Conduct product and process audits and assist with customer, internal, and regulatory audits.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to drive quality and compliance.
  • Creating and managing SAP Quality Notifications (Z2/Z3).
  • Technical complaint entry and tracking.
  • Records retention administration including Iron Mountain archive management and retrieving archived records.
  • Maintaining CoCs and supporting documentation.

What your background should look like

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, quality assurance, inspection, or supplier quality.
  • Experience with quality investigations, nonconformance management, and corrective action processes.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP/Quality Management Systems.
  • Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $51,100 – 76,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
