Job Description: 

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

This is an entry level position requiring basic mechanical/technical skills. We will provide on-the-job training to candidates who have a desire to learn and grow within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate and adjust plating lines
  • Perform quality checks of products and assure good product
  • Perform preventative & autonomous maintenance
  • Basic chemical labeling
  • Operate brass & steel ovens
  • Host, forklift, and hyster-lift operation and inspections
  • Must possess the ability to coordinate and move product from one department to another

Education/Experience:

  • REQUIRED High school diploma/GED certification
  • High energy, self-motivated, attention to detail and willingness to learn and advance in a fast paced environment
  • Introductory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of plating processes and production lines is preferred
  • Some welding skills preferred
  • Knowledge of Terminal products, reeling, and plating processes
  • Basic arithmetic and the ability to work with alpha-numeric part numbers

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 44 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to carry a minimum weight of 44 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to push a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to pull a peak force of 80 lbs safely & dependably
  • Frequent standing, walking, and balancing throughout the day is required in this job.
  • Additional PPE requirements as necessary for working environment

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.50 - $22.00  (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
