Job Overview
Performs molding machine operations, inspects the molded components visually, and performs repetitive tasks to produce and assemble the components. This position will be working 3rd Shift: Sunday through Friday from 11 pm to 7 am. This position will also receive a 10% shift differential.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspect molded product using dial calipers, micrometers, and hard gaging as prescribed by the quality inspection plan
- Operate extruder and downstream equipment (puller, slitter, reeler, grinder, vision system, mold frame) to prescribed guidelines
- Learn to troubleshoot and fix processing problems
- Assist in changeovers and setups
- Transport plastic pellets to central feeding system and take away ground scrap
- Segregate regrinds and virgin plastic materials properly
- Cross train in UF Assembly department
- Attention to 5S+1 and teamwork
Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Must successfully complete print reading and demonstrate measuring skills
- Must successfully pass Bennett Mechanical Testing
- Attention to 5S+1 and teamwork is required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift a maximum weight of 56 lbs
- Must be able to push a maximum peak force weight of 107.9 lbs
- Must be able to pull a maximum peak force weight of 83 lbs
- Must successfully pass color blindness screening

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.50 - $20.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
