Primary Responsibilities:

 

You will be responsible for effectively leading a team of associates assigned to work in Receiving

 

Job Requirements

This position includes but is not limited to:

  • Assigning job responsibilities
  • Attending and holding daily and weekly meetings
  • Aiding with quality issues
  • Maintaining all production activity throughout the shift
  • Championing lean initiatives such as 5S and TEOA activities; and
  • Enforce company and plant policies and procedures.
  • Correct SAP Shipping issues
  • Continue to work as a Receiving Material handler:
    • Supply operators with material needed for production
    • Empty scrap, weigh scrap and load onto trucks
    • Deliver finished product to Packaging department, scan, stretch wrap, create Interplant Bill of Landing and place on truck
    • Supply Department with necessary supplies
    • Communicate with Leaders for follow-up or specific instructions daily
    • Operate manual pallet jacks and moving carts constantly

Applicants will also be responsible for effectively working with the Supervisor to maximize productivity and provide feedback for employee evaluations. It is also the responsibility of the group leader to ensure that safety standards are followed, and safety remains top priority in all we do.

What your background should look like

Education / Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in Receiving
  • Working knowledge of Lickdale’s Quality systems and material handling processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively - verbally, written, and email
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities
  • Must be able to train associates in the team
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Forklift experience required

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 30 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to push a maximum weight of 90 lbs safely & dependably
  • Must be able to pull a maximum weight of 90 lbs safely & dependably
  • Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
  • Frequent standing and walking are required in this job.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $41,200-$61,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
