This position requires a mix of mechanical and electrical engineering skills. The individual will be responsible for transforming a labor-intensive manufacturing plant into an automated plant. This will include, but not be limited to, robotics for press tending, automated inspection equipment, including vision systems, and robotics for packaging and material handling.

 

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 
  • Five years experience in a manufacturing plant
  • Automation Design and Industrialization Experience
  • Vision Systems Experience
  • PLC Programming Experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot machines/equipment and provide direction to technicians.
  • Knowledge of Category 3 safety systems
  • Digital Factory/Hydra experience a plus
  • Ability to work towards completion of projects within defined schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including working effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • She has demonstrated the ability to organize and prioritize a rapidly changing set of objectives.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment with multiple changing priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $113,120 - $169,680 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
