Job Overview

A person who is involved in process improvement, streamlining, and simplifying Supply Chain planning processes, especially in inventory analysis and Management. Main responsibility is to report and manage inventory action, and create inventory reports to help the business in Inventory Control, and drive projects for productivity and efficiency. The person should be able to lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver results on Inventory Action and Reduction, create an inventory dashboard that will help the business with the strategy and improvement project completion.

The role will also play a supporting role to the planning & logistics team, as needed, on issue resolutions, root cause analysis, reports automation, developing planning tools, and onboarding/upskilling/training of planners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Inventory reporting and Analysis for the whole Sensors BU.
  • Lead and drive the inventory reduction strategy.
  • Identify and lead projects that directly contribute to, but are not limited to, performance metrics, productivity, and efficiency that are aligned with the goals and targets of the teams supported
  • Challenge existing process gaps & identify opportunities for further improvements by working closely with the team in the Philippines.
  • Drive standardization, streamlining, and adherence to key processes of the hub
  • Facilitate the onboarding process of new hires, which includes the issuance of an onboarding checklist and the training of key processes, tools, and systems
  • To both lead and support any activity that is intended to increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of team members of the hub.
  • Creation, improvement, and maintenance of standard process flows and documentation by closely working with the teams within the hub.
  • Key member of the global continuous improvement community; to share best practices, conceptualize process improvement cases, and lead projects and activities.
  • Take the role as internal process consultant to assistant Supply Chain team in resolving process issues and improve metrics performance.

What your background should look like:

  • Degree /Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
  • SAP (or other ERP software) – > 4 years
  • Understanding of MRP, experience in Supply Chain Planning– > 4 years
  • Inventory Management experience > 4 years
  • Experience in either FG or RM planning or Procurement
  • Extensive spreadsheet/Excel analysis and strong mathematical abilities.  
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement projects
  • Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.
  • Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.
