Why you should join:
As a member of the Incident Response and Security Operations team, you will be a key member of our collaborative security team, working alongside other security professionals to protect our organization from sophisticated cyberattacks. In this role, you will be working on a multi-regional team to analyze security alerts, hunt for threats, and participate in security-oriented projects to drive the operations team’s mission forward.
Your main tasks:
- Participating in and driving security-centric projects around key SOC domains.
- Monitor and investigate security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in a hybrid environment.
- Manage and Leverage Next-Gen Anti-Virus tools (NGAV) and Endpoint Detect & Response (EDR).
- Participating in proactive security exercises in a variety of scenarios.
- Work cross-team to identify and implement process improvements.
Your ideal background:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or equivalent experience
- 0-1+ years operating and supporting Windows and/or Linux in a large enterprise environment
- 0-1+ years operating and supporting NGAV/EDR in a large enterprise environment
- Experience with security configuration/hardening standards (ex. CIS, NIST, etc)
- Demonstrated experience in understanding networking technologies and protocols
- Demonstrated systems administration experience with Windows and Linux/UNIX-based operating systems
- Participate in an on-call schedule for high priority issues
- Experience with incident response tools and techniques
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Must have technology passion and staying current with emerging security trends.
- Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills.
